These hooks are made from 3/8” square bar with 1 hole at the top. They are mild steel that I heated in a propane forge until glowing orange. I then formed the metal into these unique shapes using a combination of hammers and tongs. After getting the shape just so, I used a sandblaster to remove all the flakey scale that builds up on the surface through the process. Then one last heat and dunk into oil to give it this dark finish.
